A bestiary of sexual desires. After the death of her parents, Aunt Gertrude takes in her pretty fifteen-year-old niece Louise. From then on, the interest of those around them focuses on her. In particular, older, more or less well-known representatives of society gather weekly at Gertrude's for their regular meeting and soon reveal their true intentions: the facade of respectability quickly collapses. Louise becomes the object of desire, with all men and women at her feet. The fact that the German first edition has now been reissued, newly revised, is a stroke of luck.
