The visionary Henry Stone travels with his team on behalf of the governments of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to Cairo to track down their compatriots who have been taken hostage in the Egyptian White Desert. The allure of the White Desert captivated European tourists until it abruptly dissipated at dawn. When Kalashnikovs were pointed at them, the chase through the sand began.
