After a series of unexplained incidents, a catastrophe occurs on the ISS in 2025. Of the three crew members, only ESA astronaut Thomas Ehrmann and NASA astronaut Patricia Michaels manage to escape to Earth in a Soyuz capsule. Upon landing in Kazakhstan, they are held against their will in Russia, as the government has doubts about the fate of the third crew member, the cosmonaut and national hero Oleg Rashkin. To prevent an international conflict from arising over this incident, the ESA sends its top psychologist Amina Young to Moscow. She is tasked with interviewing the two astronauts and uncovering the truth. However, Ehrmann and Michaels begin to entangle themselves in contradictions, and the Russian leadership is growing increasingly impatient. When Amina receives information from a hacker about a supposed secret Pentagon project, a suspicion arises: Is the installation of the first private module on the ISS connected to the incident? Could Rashkin have been a spy for the government? And are the surviving astronauts even under suspicion of murder?.
