Where do we go if we have no destination? In the summer of 2017, Florian Werner sets out on a solo hiking journey. He carries a tent, a sleeping bag, no map, but he brings courage and humor - along with the intention to always take the path of least resistance: If the right path goes uphill, the hiker goes left. If the wind blows from the west, he heads east. During his travels through Germany, Werner encounters all sorts of quirky characters. He is chased by cows, drained by ticks, and nearly run over while camping. He meditates on cartography, aimlessness, and the philosophy of hiking. And he discovers that the path of least resistance holds its own unique adventures.
