Who hasn't thought about disappearing from the world for at least two weeks? Five childhood friends in post-communist Warsaw, in their thirties and burdened with offspring, set off into the unknown. Tired of their daily lives, they are persuaded by Wasyl Bandurko, a failed pianist, to embark on an adventure that takes them to the wild, sparsely populated area along the Polish-Slovak border. Not everyone knows the true purpose of the trip: Bandurko wants to stage his own death.
