Practical and student-oriented for successful high school German instruction. The student books of the General Edition serve as both a language and reading book. They equally consider the competency areas of speaking and writing, reading and listening, media handling, and reflecting on language. The chapter structure follows the proven three-step approach: acquiring basic knowledge, expanding topics, and differentiating and deepening competencies, as well as training and applying what has been learned in projects. Competency transfer, differentiation/support, and targeted exam preparation are emphasized. Work techniques and methods are practiced in all areas to train independent work. Targeted exam preparation and self-assessment are already included in the student book and can be deepened with supplementary training workbooks. The appendix provides a clear overview of the orientation knowledge.
