Separations, losses, farewells, and death affect all people. Especially in our time, where people live longer than before and also separate more frequently. In a fast-paced world, there is often hardly any time for a proper farewell and mourning. The lack of opportunity for this and the pressure to keep functioning can make many people mentally and emotionally ill, dissatisfied, and unhappy, often for a long time afterward. Therefore, one should not be deprived of the generally normal, healthy, justified, necessary, appreciative, respectful, and loving right to mourn. Because this would almost always mean taking away love – both from individual people and from society as a whole, which then becomes increasingly devoid of love and emotion. Today, especially in Germany, support is needed for this.
