A chronicler of Germany: Hans Werner Richter. As the founder of the influential Group 47, Hans Werner Richter is an indispensable figure in German literary history. Now, two works are once again available that showcase his close connection to Pomerania, where he was born. "Footprints in the Sand," published in 1953, tells the largely autobiographical story of a youth on Usedom.
