Product details
As the title suggests, Georg Lehmann-Felskowski's work, published in 1905, focuses on the largest German ports and canals of that time: the seaports of Hamburg and Bremen, the Kaiser Wilhelm Canal, the Elbe-Trave Canal, and the Dortmund-Ems Canal, as well as the Prussian Baltic Sea ports of Stettin, Danzig, and Königsberg, and the naval ports of Kiel and Wilhelmshaven. The texts provide a wonderful insight into inland shipping and port operations at the beginning of the 20th century, complemented by a variety of illustrations. This is a reprint of the original edition.
