This book contains essays on the exhibition and exposure of art: on art that exposes itself to criticism and theory and forms resonant bodies with both, rather than simply being determined by them; on art that becomes an orphan because it is exhibited in museums; on art that practices a use without appropriation, which prevents people from claiming a place or a language for themselves; on art that, through the exposure of the image, enables the seizing of a revolutionary opportunity or culminates in the abstraction from which it itself originates; on art that, due to its essential stupidity, its conceptual confusion or lack of concepts, surrenders to culture while simultaneously resisting it. Must one not oppose the museum's fetishization of art, its reification into culture, and its delimiting and constraining definition?.
