The boundaries have become blurred: artists, curators, and collectors intersect with the global capital market and worldwide civil wars, and even major state institutions are involved. Hito Steyerl has been reflecting on these conditions for many years, not only through her films and video installations but also in her lecture performances and numerous essays.
