A playful ABC of 26 images - paintings, drawings, and photographs - randomly selected and commented on in interplay, according to the personal preferences and interests of the two authors. Our interest in nudity is one of the most universal in the world. One could say that elsewhere, indeed almost everywhere, nudity is associated with eroticism and/or the sacred, while Western nudity seems to expose itself, presenting an interest that is detached from the intentions of knowledge and pleasure. Although it always seems to be directed towards a truth or sensory delight, nudity remains suspended, in the background, indefinable. Certainly, this nudity inevitably evokes curiosity and desire, yet it never remains there. Curiosity and desire are so obvious that they become equally apparent.
