Ted Benoît, born in 1948, created his first comics in the early 1970s. Subsequently, he produced works including "Vers la Ligne Claire," "Histoires Vraies," and "Hospital." Benoît quickly became enamored with the drawing style of Hergé, which he adopted in his series "Ray Banana" in 1982. In addition to the comic "Bingo Bongo and his Congo Combo" and various prints, he also released the illustrated book "La Peau du Leopard." After the "Ray Banana" picture book "L'Homme Qui Ne Ne Ne Transpirait Pas," Benoît revitalized the series "Blake and Mortimer" by Edgar P. Jacobs in collaboration with writer Jean van Hamme, with their new volume "Der Fall Francis Blake" breaking sales records in France and Belgium.
