Pierrot, Mimile, and Antoine, three seventy-year-olds and friends since childhood, have well understood that growing old is the only known way to avoid dying. Even at the risk of their time on Earth dragging on a bit longer, they are determined to do so in style: always keeping one eye on the past that no longer exists, while the other scrutinizes a future that is becoming increasingly uncertain.
