Product details

The subject of this work is the employer's duty to inform in the employment relationship. There is a need for a scientific investigation in several respects: On the one hand, there is a lack of a legally defined basis for the spontaneously arising and thus somewhat opaque duties to inform. On the other hand, a review of the literature and case law reveals only sporadic systematic and dogmatic approaches, making it difficult for those subject to a duty to inform to recognize it. In particular, it is hardly possible for them to conduct an anticipatory examination of this issue. Therefore, the content of the work involves the creation of a possible basis for informing and its application across the various temporal dimensions of an employment relationship. The author contributes to clarifying a particularly common factual situation in both the initiation and continuation of an employment relationship, as well as its termination.
