Product details
Since the beginning of the new millennium, the number of liquidations of equity funds has increased dramatically. For investors as well as for fund companies, it is of great interest to understand which factors significantly influence the liquidation of funds. Björn Zollenkop examines fund-specific, fund company-specific, and segment-specific influencing factors and tests the derived hypotheses using a specially created dataset of around 1,000 funds. From this first comprehensive study on the theoretical and empirically identifiable determinants of equity fund liquidations in Germany, the author derives directly applicable insights.
