"Where is the water?" ask Joschi, Willi, and Ole as they stare into the empty kiddie pool in Willi's garden. Willi's dad prefers to lie lazily under the apple tree rather than fill the pool. But since the three friends have formed a lifeguard gang, they urgently need water to practice! In their search, they learn that Pizza, their friend Nina's mouse, has died. Of course, Pizza deserves a proper burial! So the friends decide to start a burial gang. The mouse is respectfully buried in a shoebox under the lilac bush. Afterwards, there's lemon cake for comfort. Now, thanks to her friends, Nina only has to be a little sad. And what will the gang do next? Maybe they can discuss Willi's dad's funeral with him? But he would rather let water into the kiddie pool.
