The book deals with the relationship between foreign direct investments (FDI) and economic growth in developing countries such as Tanzania. In most developing countries, the lack of capital for investments remains a barrier to economic growth and national development. This can be attributed to low savings, inadequate management skills, and a low level of technology. Therefore, the inflow of foreign direct investments is seen as an important driver of economic growth in developing countries, helping to bridge these gaps. This book explains the relationship between foreign direct investments and economic growth in Tanzania from 1991 to 2021. It is the result of academic work published in the journal Cogent Economics and Finance.
