"The Images" by Else Lasker-Schüler is a comprehensive tribute to her artistic work, which often stands in the shadow of her literary achievements. This volume gathers all of her drawings for the first time in an illustrated catalog and offers an in-depth analysis of the artistic influences that shaped Lasker-Schüler. An essay by the editor highlights inspirations from ancient Egyptian art as well as her friendship with Franz Marc.
