Product details
A contribution to the history of German trade and German colonization from 1885. With the acquisition of Pacific territories in North New Guinea (Kaiser-Wilhelms-Land), the nearby island group (Bismarck Archipelago), as well as the Marshall Islands and several Solomon Islands, the first phase of German colonial policy was largely completed by 1886. The Samoa Treaty in 1899 also made the western part of the Samoa Islands in the South Pacific a German protectorate. Illustrated with 78 black-and-white images and 6 maps. Reprint of the original edition from 1885.
