René Goscinny is someone who really needs no introduction. Just saying "Asterix" is enough for everyone to know that it's going to be funny. The co-creator and author of the indomitable Gauls was a gifted humorist, and his impeccable comedic sense was by no means limited to his decades-long successful collaboration with Albert Uderzo as his ideal artistic partner, which produced not only Asterix & Co. but also "Umpah-Pah," "Luc Junior," and more. In addition, Goscinny wrote the children's book classic "Little Nicholas," illustrated by Sempé, penned "Lucky Luke" for Morris for many years, created "Isnogud" together with Jean Tabary, and much more, primarily in the comic field. This includes the "Dingodossiers," small, hilarious vignettes in which Goscinny and Marcel Gotlib as illustrators truly explored every conceivable idea.
