Family and university do not have to be separate areas of life. The responsibility for achieving compatibility is no longer solely with the family itself: universities are increasingly recognizing the appeal that family-friendliness has for attracting students, young researchers, and professors. In particular, the provision of good and reliable childcare options for the children of university members plays a central role in this.
