In the mid-22nd century, somewhere in Northern Europe. Young Mira lives with her family in a strictly authoritarian state. As the daughter of a high-ranking official, she is privileged. However, after joining the forbidden underground organization of the Fisher Children, her life is in constant danger. When the group is discovered, she escapes with the mysterious Chas. Against all reason, they decide to travel to the capital of the regime to make a desperate attempt to free another member from prison. But even before they reach their destination, their journey is threatened with a sudden end.
