In the years when no steamboats disturbed the mighty Mississippi, a band of robbers settled on one of the many islands of this river. They spread robbery and murder throughout the region and even operated a counterfeiting operation in their hideout. From there, they flooded the entire western land with their banknotes. The law is powerless, so the residents must help themselves. They form a regulators' alliance and go to war against the river pirates.
