Product details
The aim of this treatise is to derive, from a few principles largely provided by experience, the essence of those electrical phenomena that arise from the interaction of two or more bodies, commonly referred to as galvanic. Its objective is achieved when the diversity of facts is placed under the unity of thought. The physicist Georg Simon Ohm (1789-1854) is considered one of the founders of research on electric currents. Posthumously, his name became permanently associated with electrical theory following the decision at the 1st International Congress of Electricity in 1881 to name the unit of electrical resistance after him. Ohm's great fame and recognition are particularly rooted in the work published in 1827.
