César is going to die. He is not sick, not ruined; he simply can no longer live, that’s all. When he stretches his arms out towards Paz at night, she is no longer there. The woman César loved is dead. For their six-year-old son, the father has arranged everything, taking him to the grandparents, and now all that is left for him is to take the ten capsules that lie before him on the kitchen table. But then there is a knock at the door: Nana, César's young neighbor with the Greek accent, whom he has not noticed until now, suddenly stands in his apartment and seems to thwart his plan with her mere presence.
