Green Lies - the more absurd they are, the more willingly they are believed. This shocking book emerged from the collaboration with Werner Boote, with whom she co-wrote the script for his film "The Green Lie" (November 2017), in which she also participates. When you enter terms like "sustainable" and "sustainability" into a search engine, you get almost 300 million entries. Nowadays, everything that is proven to be environmentally harmful is also labeled as sustainable and climate-friendly: air travel, fur coats, genetic engineering, coal power, and even Formula 1 racing. Unfortunately, Mother Earth has not yet noticed any of this green progress: the so-called Earth Overshoot Day - the day when all the resources of the world that can be used ecologically within a year are exhausted - occurs earlier each year. Are all these beautiful success reports really just green lies?.
