Product details

Richard Schönborn was the head coach of the German Tennis Federation for over 26 years, serving as the Davis Cup and Federation Cup coach, as well as the director of the DTB's national training center in Hanover. He was the architect and leader of the successful youth development program of the DTB in the 1970s and 1980s. During this period, the DTB was a leader and trendsetter in Europe, not only in specific sports science but also in systematic and scientifically supported long-term youth development, which laid the foundation for the generation of world-class players, Davis Cup and Fed Cup winners, as well as Grand Slam champions of the 1980s and 1990s. It was the most successful period in the entire history of the DTB. He worked as a consultant and lecturer for the ITF at an international level in more than 120 countries around the world and was the head of the A-coaches.
