Zyrill is inconsolable. His playmate, Princess Amina, has fallen very ill. One evening, her father, the star-gazing king, shows him the night sky, and Zyrill feels as if the stars begin to resonate, offering him comfort deep within his heart. Then he is allowed to embark on a great journey with the king and his entourage. They all follow a special star that points to a child who has just been born, fulfilling the people's longing for healing from illness, evil, and death. Along the way, Zyrill encounters a mystery hidden in many fruits and flowers, as well as in snowflakes and gemstones. The world seems to be full of wonders! He is allowed to discover them in awe and ultimately finds the way to an even greater mystery that shines from the eyes of this child and, in the end, even heals his playmate.
