In addition to careful personnel selection, the onboarding of a new employee is crucial. This process not only affects their future relationship with work, colleagues, supervisors, and their employer, but also their willingness to engage and perform. The goal must be for the new employee to contribute their potential to the company in the long term and with commitment. This publication outlines measures for designing such an onboarding process. It considers the roles of the parties involved in the integration process as well as their responsibilities, along with the various tools that facilitate employee integration.
