Friedrich Weinreb (1910 Lviv - 1988 Zurich) was an innovator in the storytelling of the Bible and a pioneer in the approach to Kabbalah. For him, Judaism and Christianity exist in a creative connection. The Old and New Testaments form a unity in this context. His work also opens pathways to understanding spiritual experiences. Additionally, there is a closeness of his work to other mystical traditions. Weinreb is regarded as a remarkable exception in 20th-century Judaism. With his groundbreaking book "Creation in the Word: The Structure of the Bible in Jewish Tradition," he unlocked the treasure trove of Jewish knowledge.
