Just as the Muscle Animals have recovered from their last adventure and have strengthened themselves at Mrs. Fröhlich's cheese counter, they hear a terrible news: Hamster Bertram Backenbart, the mice Picandou and Pomme de Terre, and the rat Gruyère learn that Mrs. Fröhlich is planning a ship trip to Egypt and will close her shop during that time.
