Product details
In 2001, the German legislator established the foundations for the use of information technologies in civil proceedings through several amendments to the Code of Civil Procedure. This work addresses one of the central new regulations in this context, the conduct of video conferences in civil proceedings based on Section 128a of the Code of Civil Procedure as amended by the 2001 Reform Act. It is the first monographic study on this topic. The work aims to contribute to the development of legal opinions, provide reflections on existing approaches, and offer new insights.
