Product details

In the mechanical engineering industry, especially in automotive manufacturing, office machine production, and machine tool construction, the demand for increased performance, rationalization, and easier handling of the manufacturing process necessitates the use of fundamentally new methods. Consequently, there has been a search for new working processes in the field of heat treatment that can be integrated into a flow production system. For a number of applications, inductive heating using medium and high frequency is a suitable option. These methods have been increasingly adopted in various manufacturing areas for about 10 years. A wide range of literature is available in German and foreign journals. However, there have been few comprehensive works published in Germany; notable are the two works by E. Hohne and W. Brunst from Springer Verlag.
