Childhood was our first home. Certainly, it may have been overshadowed and marked by some suffering. This painful, often deforming parental training or lack of affection is rightly the focus of most therapies. It is important to me to consciously direct attention in this book to the positive attitudes towards life, talents, and abilities that we owe to the good fairies, guardian angels, and wizards of our childhood.
