The Lawyer's Handbook presents a compact and up-to-date overview of the social rights of young families. Contents include: parental allowance, parental leave, child benefit, additional benefits during pregnancy and childbirth, health insurance, fertility treatments, housing benefit, subsistence support (SGB II), care for a child with disabilities, inheritance and bequeathing in families receiving social benefits. Numerous references to tax, insurance, medical, and inheritance law are clarified. The changes effective from January 1, 2007, are incorporated.
