Juanjo Guarnido was born in 1967 in Granada, Spain. He spent his childhood drawing in the small village of Salobrena on the Mediterranean coast. Later, the family moved to Granada, where Juanjo Guarnido began and completed his studies in Fine Arts. In Granada, he also worked on publishing and fanzines. This issue of the magazine was published in the Comic Forum of Planeta de Agostini, the Spanish branch of Marvel, and was also a great success. In the first half of the year, a conference on the animation industry took place in Madrid, where he was still working on animated series. There, on the very first day at the studio, he met Juan Diaz Canales, the later author of Blacksad. In 1993, Juanjo Guarnido moved.
