The manual provides insights into trauma-informed approaches for (aspiring) teachers and teacher education. From a power-critical and decolonial perspective, it highlights the interaction between trauma and school. Principles of trauma-informed schooling are presented, and conceptual differences to other educational approaches to trauma are explained. The concepts introduced clarify how schools can become safe and inclusive learning and development spaces for students and teachers.
