Sam was incredibly smart and knew about all sorts of things. She also felt things deeply. Sometimes I thought she would take care of everything for both of us - all the thinking, all the feeling, all of life. Sam knew who she was. I, on the other hand, wasn't always so sure. Supporting each other is something Sal and his best friend Samantha have always managed to do. But can they still do it amidst the greatest chaos, when everything threatens to fall apart?
