Product details
The English civil procedure reform of 1998, known as the Woolf Reform, has been a complete success. The caseload of the courts there has significantly decreased since then, the duration of proceedings has noticeably shortened, and the number of settled cases is continuously increasing. The study presents individual, particularly successful instruments of English procedural law, conducts a thorough evaluation of them, and examines whether comparable regulations should also be introduced in this country. To this end, it makes legislative proposals that invite discussion at specific points.
