The most important texts of Ulrike Meinhof are an example of resolute journalism that does not shy away from the heights of power but understands how to identify political contradictions. At the same time, they provide an overview of German post-war history: they analyze the inability to come to terms with Nazism and the hasty reconstruction of power. They describe the withering of democracy in the case of the individual – their dignity becomes vulnerable.
