Wherever education takes place, something is also shown to promote and challenge the learning of children and adolescents. This operational basis relates to all education as well as pedagogical reflection. The showing structure of education provides the framework for building an operational pedagogy around the question: What do we do and how do we behave when we educate? Within the showing structure of education, it is about relating two entirely different operations: the inevitably individual and irreplaceable learning of the individual and the socially staged education. Both must be coordinated, synchronized over time, and then decoupled again to enable the independent use of what has been learned. To achieve this, it requires not only a didactics of showing to explore topics and competencies but also a specific moral.
