The Flex and Flora 4 package includes the workbooks "Investigating Language 4," "Writing Correctly 4," "Writing Texts 4," and "Reading 4," as well as some supplementary materials: a spelling fan, a revision circle, reading cards, and a glossary. The four workbooks for a grade level are competency-oriented and do not dictate subject matter. They are designed to be worked on at the child's own pace, placing the individual learning process of the children at the forefront. Open teaching methods are supported. The workbooks can be linked together or worked on independently. Within a workbook, the sequence of units is a suggestion that can be altered, as each unit has a complete theme. Each unit begins with an introductory image that provides the child with an overview of the learning content of the unit. The introductory pages can be used in a group setting.
