Product details
Aligned with the new LehrplanPLUS, this resource enables students to discover the religious dimension in their everyday lives. The chapters connect to the children's experiences and consistently provide prompts for further thinking, storytelling, and creativity. Questions such as "What do I already know?", "What do others say?", "What does the Bible tell us?", and "What else can we find out?" are integrated into the content and placed in a productive relationship. Instead of aiming for finished results, the open learning opportunities allow for process-oriented work, while consistently avoiding cognitive narrowing. Holistic and action-oriented learning, musical aspects, movement, and artistic engagement are significant for religious development and are therefore emphasized. The clear structure of the student book invites targeted perception: each chapter begins with one or more images that relate the topic to the children's life world and activate prior knowledge. At the bottom of each page, there is a task bar with conversation starters, suggestions for deeper reflection, creative opportunities, prompts for role plays or tableaux, as well as liturgical elements. Each chapter concludes with the competency-oriented page "Searching for Clues," which allows students to independently describe their individual learning progress and insights. In addition to numerous photocopiable templates and detailed suggestions for lesson planning, the teacher materials offer targeted support for conveying religious content.
