The revised edition of "The Sorcerer's Apprentice 2 VA" offers new elements to support children on their way to secure spelling: Conscious reflection on the work done is facilitated by the double sheet in the footer of each page. For error-free work, the teacher enters a form of confirmation in the left sheet. If the child has made mistakes on the page, the teacher records the number of errors in the left sheet, while the child notes the number of errors they have identified themselves in the right sheet. When marking the errors, the teacher can take a differentiated approach: for stronger students, she can mark the error in the margin, while for weaker children, she can mark it directly behind the word. The child can then correct the error using their favorite color. The symbol of the double sheet is explained on the front flap.
