Jenny Marx: independent and committed, intelligent and educated, a strong, beautiful woman by the side of one of the most famous men in world history. Together with Marx, she navigated the exile life burdened by financial worries, evictions, and hostility, with several years spent in Paris and Brussels, followed by 30 years in London, which always remained a place of exile and never became home. She was an active participant in the socialist movement, a recognized ally of her husband, whose judgment she greatly valued.
