In elementary school mathematics classes, computers are mostly used with training programs. This represents a significant limitation, as there are numerous meaningful ways to incorporate computers into teaching that can provide valuable enrichment for learning. This publication is characterized by a focus on mathematics didactics. The aim is to exploit the pedagogical opportunities of digital media for a contemporary mathematics education based on didactic reasoning. Drawing on concepts that have been developed and tested over the years, we want to emphasize this mathematics didactic perspective in this book.
