The deceased is the women's representative of the nearby educational center. Just a few days later, the lifeless body of a dedicated cultural journalist is found floating in a small lake just a few meters away from the prehistoric creature replica. Two central questions confront the investigators: What connects these two women? Why did the perpetrator choose this particular location? Chief Inspector Tannenberg is personally affected by the horrific events in multiple ways. The series of murders shows clear parallels to his first case.
