Daniel Roke, an Australian horse breeder and owner of a horse farm, receives an unexpected visit one day from an Englishman who introduces himself as Earl October. It quickly becomes clear that the English nobleman has a special concern: he is dealing with a mysterious doping scandal in England and is looking for an experienced professional to help solve the case. Roke agrees. Disguised as a stable boy, he will work with the suspicious trainers at the stud farm. However, the job is dangerous, as Roke's predecessor has mysteriously lost his life.
