Product details
Thesis from the year 2001 in the field of Biology - Zoology, grade: 1.0, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (Biology, Zoological Institute), language: German.
Summary: To characterize animal models at the behavioral level, a reliable and reproducible behavioral phenotyping is essential. The behavioral analyses commonly used in biomedical research based on multiple test batteries (mTb) have proven to be problematic in this regard, as discrepancies arose not only between different laboratories but also between repeated tests within a research group. Therefore, the aim of this thesis was to investigate the validity and reproducibility of a complex ethological behavior test, the modified hole boards (mHb).
